Our planned route of 2 hrs to Alice Springs didn't work out. The road was closed, so SnowDude got us there by backtracking, making it a 5 hr drive (no stopping except for gas). We made our flight (barely), flew to Darwin, then he drove a few more hours to Cooinda in Kakadu National Park. New animals: wedge-tailed eagles and Northern Tree Frog and a Dingo for Scott. (wk 183, day 1)
