Vertical Cure is an event developed to create awareness of Scleroderma as well as raise money for the rare tissue disease. Each participant is challenged to collect pledges based on vertical feet they ski during the event. The event idea was created by Chris Corman and Phil Delurgio while riding up a ski lift in Whistler. Both of their mom's suffer from the rare Scleroderma disease. 2008 was our most successful event - raising $30,000 – and having a great time doing it. Thanks to all who sponsored us! (week 116)
