Yesterday was my longest hike since before surgery, so I was ready to take it easy. We slept in, then went to Goleta Beach to check out the wildlife before heading north for Buellton. We checked out the Ostrich and Emu farm to kill time, then went to The Hitching Post, where "Sideways" was filmed. We both took a nap in the parking lot before heading back to Goleta. I slept a few more hours, got up at 3:45am to drive home and get to work. A fun relaxing day in a new area for me! (wk 171, day 2)
