Saturday Day 1: I asked SnowDude to drop me off at Convict Lake while he snowboarded. I carried a small pack and walked slowly around the lake. The south side was a little icy on slopey trail, so I turned back. I walked to the Restaurant at Convict Lake, and even tho they didn't open for another 1.5 hrs, they let me sit in the bar while waiting for SnowDude. I had 2 glasses of wine before he got there. We had dinner there for his birthday. Awesome food as always! (wk 159)
