I pulled over Sunday night to sleep. Decided to do a hike the next day since I was in the area. Beautiful day, and spent 45 min on the summit even tho it was windy. Got down earlier than I expected and got back to Mammoth in the dark. 9 miles, 2000'. Haven't done that many miles with el gain in awhile.
